You have complete control over how you want to print your beautiful photos. There are many color options and styles to choose from. Order Now!
Step one – Proofing
As soon as we receive a firm order from you with your images, we will kick start the proofing process. A proof demonstrates how it will look as a finished print. The images will be customerised to exactly how you want it. Depending on the size and resolution of the images, we will offer our recommendations and we can do the following:
Image cropping; resizing; colour Correction; adding borders; removing Red Eyes; restore Old Photos – Preserve, repair and enhance your valuable old family photos; removing background; design, color changing, convert images into pop art, etc.
Step Two – Payment
Once your order is confirmed, we will email an invoice to you with our payment details.
The preferred payment method is direct debit and cash is acceptable payable on delivery if you live in the Auckland region.
As soon as payment is received, we will start the printing process.
Step three – Printing
Acorntree prints with the latest technology from HP – Designjet Z3100, one of the best wide format printers in the current market. The new HP 12-ink Designjet with HP Vivera pigment inks and the first-ever embedded spectrophotometer(2) delivers exquisite quality, breakthrough color accuracy across a variety of papers, and truly reliable printing while keeping costs down.
Exquisite 200-year(1) color & black-&-white quality
Color & black-and-white prints resist fading for 200 years(1) on a range of HP & HP Hahnemuhle papers. They create beautiful black-and-white prints with smooth transitions with the HP quad-black ink set. Neutral grays across different lighting conditions
Breakthrough color accuracy and consistency
Get color accuracy on any paper—the creation of ICC profiles is automatic and simple. It has complete coverage of SWOP, ISO, GRACOL, EUROSCALE, TOYO, and FOGRA gamuts for color accuracy and we expect consistent color from print to print regardless of fluctuating environmental conditions.
As for the canvas, we use the award winning Chromata White™ Matte Canvas from Breathing Colour imported from United States. A museum-grade poly cotton blend that delivers the purest roll-to-roll consistency and industry leading Dmax value by a wide margin. This canvas has pronounced color that will truly blow your mind. This fine art canvas is bright white yet completely free of Optical Brightener Additives.
Step four – Coating
After printing, we will then apply a water based solvent to the canvas, giving it some UV and water resistance. With care, your print can last for more than a hundred years without any signs of colour fading.
Step five – Stretching
Each print is carefully hand stretched around a box frame and stapled to the back of the stretched bar frames. Our skilled designer makes sure that the print has the best quality finished.
Step six – Gift Wrapping
To finish off the job, we will gift wrap the print, ready to be delivered. Depending on the occasions, if it’s a birthday present, we often print the image on a card with a designed envolope and it’s absolutely free of charge.
